On the second floor of Rough Point there are two gallery spaces that were created when the house was converted from a private residence to a public museum – one in the place of a master bedroom, the other replacing an apartment used by household staff. These flexible spaces allow for a program of exhibitions that change on an annual basis and highlight areas of Doris Duke's collecting interests or other cultural and philanthropic activities.
For 2020, we welcome you to learn more about Doris Duke in the exhibition "Beyond Fortune: Myths & Truths of Doris Duke".
