Every season at Rough Point offers something special — come experience Doris Duke’s Newport home during the coziest and merriest days of the year. Rooms of the museum will be spruced up for the Christmas holiday, while other rooms will be cloaked in their winter coverings. Together, these spaces tell the story of Rough Point’s holiday traditions and the off-season routines of one of Newport’s summer cottages.

On the last Saturday of every month, explore the house of an unconventional heiress, then stroll the gardens and take in the seascape outside. Complete a different family-friendly craft or activity each month—this October, see Rough Point at its spookiest. Costumes are welcome!
