Title: Custodial Care Associate

Reports to: Director of Facilities
Job Summary: The Newport Restoration Foundation is seeking a Custodial Care Associate to join our facilities department at the beautiful waterfront location of the Rough Point museum, on Bellevue Avenue, Newport, RI. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining both the public and office spaces at Rough Point. During the spring, summer and fall the cleaning and maintenance will tend to focus on cleaning and care of public areas, bathrooms and offices, while winter work involves large scale cleaning of chandeliers, metal objects, woodwork, floors and textile items, in addition to the cleaning and care of public areas, bathrooms and offices. The Collections Care Technician and Senior Curator will train this position on how to clean collections items and other sensitive materials.
