DESCRIPTION:Keeping History Above Water returns to Newport! \nJoin us for a symposium exploring a decade of successes and lessons learned\, cultivating a community of practitioners\, and inspiring action for pragmatic solutions for cultural heritage resiliency in the wake of climate change. \nEarly bird registration now open. \nSymposium Schedule: \nWednesday\, October 21: 1pm-3pm Elevation as Craft • (Optional) Opening Reception & Keynote: 5:30pm-7:30pm \nThursday\, October 22 & Friday\, October 23: Sessions: 9:15am -3:15pm • Offsite sessions: 3:30pm \nSessions will take place at Bazarsky Lecture Hall\, 36 Ochre Court\, Newport\, RI with offsite afternoon sessions at various locations throughout Newport. \nThe keynote address and opening reception will be held on Wednesday\, October 21 at Rough Point Museum\, 680 Bellevue Avenue\, from 5:30-7:30 pm.
