At our next virtual Second Sunday program, we’ll join Clean Ocean Access to learn more about recycling here in Newport. We’ll visit the trash skimmer at Perrotti Park, discover what happens when we throw plastic away, and find out how composting works. Stick around for the end of the video, where you can learn how to make a book out of recycled materials to celebrate National Book Lovers’ Day on August 9!
This special virtual experience will premiere at 6:00 pm EST on Sunday, August 9 on our YouTube channel. No registration necessary. This video program will be available for viewing on YouTube after its completion.
