A Dog’s Day Out
August 16 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 PM
It’s the dog days of summer! Join us and our community partner The Potter League for Animals for our second annual Dog’s Day Out at “Ruff” Point. We will have a photo booth for your pup to pose, treats to enjoy, and a pet-tique market to peruse.
All proceeds will go to the Newport Restoration Foundation and the Potter League for Animals to support our missions promoting preservation, animal welfare, and the shared love of pets and people.
NRF founder Doris Duke was a supporter of animal well-being and she lived with dogs, cats, and camels(!) in her homes. Many of her pets were adopted from the Potter League for Animals.
Suggested donation, $5. All proceeds will go to the Newport Restoration Foundation and the Potter League for Animals to support our missions. We kindly ask that you register here, in advance.
Please note: We welcome all doggos, floofs, and furry friends who are leashed and are picked up after on the grounds of Rough Point.
Service dogs are welcome inside the museum, but please no pets.
Sponsorship and sponsor booth opportunities are available! Please contact Sue Battle at sbattle@newportrestoration.org or by calling 401 849 7300 ext. 102.
