The tour will touch on the curatorial process and the commitment to beauty and design that drew two creative minds together.
An open house, open to all, will take place from 5:00-7:00, and light refreshments will be served. PLEASE NOTE: the 4:30, 5:30, and 6:30 tours are currently at capacity, but the exhibition galleries will be open for roaming throughout the open house.
This event is one of many during our 2018 season that celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Newport Restoration Foundation, by looking back at — and sometimes reviving — what Doris Duke and others were up to around the time of its founding.
This event is also part of the DESIGNxRI 2018 DESIGN WEEK. Visit designweekri.com for more information about other events taking place September 13-22.
