From Boston and Coastal Points North

• From points west of Boston, take Route 93 South towards Quincy.
• Follow 93 to Route 24 South. Merge onto 24 South via exit 4 on the left toward Brockton.
• Follow 24 South for 39 miles. 24 joins briefly with Route 195 around Fall River, MA. Continue on 24 South by taking exit 8A toward Tiverton, RI/Newport, RI. Travel another 10 miles on Route 24 South.
• Route 24 ends at Route 114 South/West Main Road. Follow 114 South/West Main Road for almost 6 miles.
• Turn left on Route 214/Valley Road. Follow 214/West Main Road for approximately 2 miles.
• Route 214/Valley Road ends and merges with Aquidneck Avenue/Route 138. Follow for almost ½ mile.
• Route 138 bears right and becomes Purgatory Road, then Memorial Blvd. Follow for almost 1.5 miles to the intersection with Bellevue Avenue.
• Turn left onto Bellevue Avenue. Follow Bellevue Avenue for approximately 2 miles.
• As you approach a sharp bend in the road, there will be a large, black iron gate on your left, with a bronze sign reading “Rough Point" and “680." Turn into the gate where a Rough Point security guard will direct you to available parking.

From West of Boston & Worcester

• From the Boston area, and points north, take I-95 south, toward Providence. Stay on I-95 through Providence. After you pass the junction with I-295, start looking for the LEFT exit 9 to Route 4, toward Newport.
• Take exit 9 for Route 4 south. Route 4 merges with Route 1 south at the third traffic light. Continue on, and be ready to exit to the right.
• After less than one mile on Route 1, take the exit for Route 138 East, towards Newport.
• You will cross a bridge onto Jamestown Island, then a second bridge into Newport. The second one is the Pell bridge and has a $4.00 toll.
• Get off the bridge at the first exit, bearing right toward downtown Newport.
• At the second traffic light, bear right on America’s Cup Boulevard. After three traffic lights, America's Cup turns into Memorial Boulevard and goes up a hill.
  If you were visiting the Whitehorne House, you would turn right at this intersection onto Thames Street and the museum is a few blocks along on your left.
• There is a traffic light in the middle of the hill, and one at the top. Turn right at the second light onto Bellevue Avenue.
• Follow Bellevue for almost two miles. When you pass Marble House on your left, you are almost at Rough Point.
• As you approach a sharp bend in the road, there will be a large, black iron gate on your left, with a bronze sign reading “Rough Point" and “680." Turn into the gate where a Rough Point security guard will direct you to available parking.

From Connecticut

• Take I-95 north, through Connecticut and into Rhode Island.
• Take exit 3 from I-95, heading east toward Kingston on Rt. 138.
• Stay on 138 through Kingston, to Rt. 1 (about 14 miles from I-95). Turn left on Rt. 1.
• After about two miles, exit Rt. 1 onto Rt. 138 east, heading to Newport.
• You will cross a bridge onto Jamestown Island, then a second bridge into Newport. The second one is the Pell bridge and has a $4.00 toll.
• Get off the bridge at the first exit, bearing right toward downtown Newport.
• At the second traffic light, bear right on America’s Cup Boulevard. After three traffic lights, America's Cup turns into Memorial Boulevard and goes up a hill.

• Take Route 146, which is exit 10A from the Mass Pike.
• Head south, toward Providence. After exits for North Smithfield and Woonsocket, there will be major intersection with I-295.
• Take I-295 south, not towards Boston.
• Continue on I-295 (about 18 miles) until it merges with I-95 south. Stay on I-95 only a few miles.
• Take LEFT exit 9 for Route 4, toward Newport. Route 4 merges with Route 1 south at the third traffic light. Continue on, and be ready to exit to the right.
• After less than one mile on Route 1, take the exit for Route 138 East, towards Newport.

From Downtown Newport

• Head North on America's Cup Avenue/RI-138A toward Bridge Street.
• Turn left onto Farewell Street/RI-138A/RI-238. Follow RI-138A/ RI-238 which becomes JT Connell Highway.
• Take the RI-138 N exit on the Left toward RI-114 North/Fall River/Cape Cod.
• At the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto Admiral Kalbfus Road/RI-138 E.
• Turn left onto West Main Road. Follow West Main Road/RI-114 for about 3 miles. Look for the Windmill vanes at Prescott Farm.

From Connecticut and Points West

• Take I-95 North into Rhode Island and towards Providence.
• Take Exit 5A for RI-102 South/Victory Highway towards North Kingstown. It becomes Nooseneck Hill Road/RI-102/RI-3/Victory Highway.
• Turn LEFT onto Victory Highway/RI-102. Continue to follow RI-102.
• Merge onto RI-4 S toward Narragansett. It becomes Tower Hill Road/US-1 South.
• Merge onto RI-138 E toward Jamestown and Newport Bridges. The second one is the Pell bridge and has a $4.00 toll.
• Cross the Pell Bridge and follow the signs for RI-114 North/Fall River/Cape Cod.
• At the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto Admiral Kalbfus Road/RI-138 E.
• Turn left onto West Main Road. Follow West Main Road/RI-114 for about 3 miles. Look for the Windmill vanes at Prescott Farm.

From Boston and Points North

• Take I-93 South towards Qunicy.
• Merge onto MA-24 S via EXIT 4 on the LEFT toward Brockton.
• Merge onto I-195 W/MA-24 S via EXIT 4 toward Fall River.
• Merge onto MA-24 S via EXIT 8A toward Tiverton/Newport, RI (Crossing into Rhode Island).
• Route 114 South also becomes West Main Road. Continue to follow RI-114 S for almost 4 miles. Look for the Windmill vanes at Prescott Farm.
